Nane Nane 2023, like the previous edition, is all about bringing to the fore AMDT beneficiaries and partners to showcase their products and services
The concept for this year’s Nane Nane participation was an expanded sector and stakeholders’ engagement, with a specific focus for AMDT partners and beneficiaries. With two exhibition stands at the SAGCOT Square and an info desk embedded with TARI withing the Ministry of Agriculture pavilion, AMDT met, greeted and networked with the community of practice, the media and the public throughout the 8-day event.
All invited beneficiaries and partners participated as planned. Beneficiaries linked up with their peers who had earlier participated in the Sabasaba International Trade Fair 2023. They showcased, sold and organized taste tests for their agricultural products including various beans and pigeon peas dishes. On the other hand, partners engaged with the visitors and sold their sunflower seeds. Lima Africa’s Record sunflower seeds was a best seller with their freshly packaged 1kg packs for smallholder farmers. They sold throughout the event.
